How Do I Check Battery Status
My battery no longer holds a charge but before I replave it I want to make sure that something else isn't wrong. I checked the battery drivers and they both sayeverything is working properly however I am not sure what everything means so that might not be connected to what I think I am asking.

You can try recalibrating the battery, follow the instructions here:

It's for HP laptops, but the general principle is the same, even the keypresses are same(F8 to choose safe mode).
This process will reset the internal circuitry in the battery, in time, it changes and reports inaccurate data. If you want more information on this whole thing:

If that fails, I am afriad replacing the battery is the only option.
