Magnetron out after just 1 1/2 years... not even used very much.

Very upset with the fact the magnetron went out after barely using the microwave for 1 1/2 years. I bought all whirlpool items at the time of my kitchen remodel. I have had the refrigerator worked in the first year and now this, $200 to repair or buy a new one. I will invest in a new one but not whirlpool, They do not stand behind their products.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

I had this microwave for 1 1/2 years and the magnetron failed. I loved everything about until then. I was assured by the dealer that sold it that Whirlpool would extend the 1 year warranty if I called and explained the situation. But after 2 calls and talking with rude customer service people, I gave up. $200 repair or buy a new one. I am buying a new one...NOT Whirlpool
