Nothing but trouble.

2 Whirlpool Corporation products that have gone bad in 4 years--- a Gas range at 4 years & a $2500 Kitchen Aid Refrigerator that needed an $800 repair after 30 months. The gas range--if you use the oven at 375 degrees or higher for 10 minutes the burners will not ignite when you turn the knobs. First it was one burner/knob, then two & now all 4. I have to wait 3 plus hours for everything to cool down before I can use the burners. Called the mfg. for both appliances & told they only give out one year warranties & it is $75 for a service call. Both times their manager OFFERED me a $329 option for an extended warranty option. So, they have so little confidence in their own product that they have to build a service plus 1 option! This 60 year old got the message Whirlpool... you produce inferior products and rely on repairs and extended warranties.
