Bois password issue

Purchasedba new E45t usedn it fime for 3 weeks. All of a sudden It kept requesting requesting then bios password which is unknown to me. I never changed it and don't have a clue what it is for. Either way had to send it back to Toshiba and pay over $100 to have it repaired. This issues is not covered under warranty. Needless to say I am not a happy consumer right now. This is my 3rd But last Toshiba laptop I will ever purchased.
