Troubleshooting this dryer's heating issue - FIXED
My DV3838AGW gas Samsung dryer was not heating properly. If left alone for several days and started, it would produce heat. But after 10 minutes or so, the heat would stop and the cycle would continue without heat. I also heard a clicking sound.The part I purchased for my DV388AGW Samsung Steam dryer:

These are GAS DRYER COILS. This part works on Samsung as well as MAYTAG AMANA ROPER ESTATE WHIRLPOOL KENMORE.
Purchased online for $7 + free shipping. This part # apparently fits on many makes/models.Comes with two little black/white cylinders. Very easy to replace. When taking off the old ones, don't forget to keep the little metal spacer (on the bigger, 3-prong one) because the replacements will not come with one.In all, I spent ~$24 on a thermistor and thermal fuse (didn't fix the issue) and another $7 on the gas valve coils.
Take the dryer apart, down to the drum. The coils are very easy to replace. Only need a Phillips screw driver. May need a stubby screwdriver as well to get into the tight spots.
$31 to fix the dryer. Woo!
