LG LDS5540S Dishwasher - Nightmare in Stainless
I will make this short:The installation instructions are poor, no specific and not easy to understand. For example trying to find the adjusters for the rear legs was a pain. Hold down for washer-poor design
Operation: Not the most robust cleaning, I am sure it saves energy and perhaps it might be quiet, but perhaps washing your dishes in the sink before you place them in the washer might be get everything clean.
Bottom Dish rack. The first time you pull the bottom rack out and it is full of dishes and find it off the no-guide track and you find yourself wrestling with it trying to slide it back into the washer you will wonder how much hassle would it be to return it.
Soap Container: No a positive closure. You find yourself wondering if this door will stay closed.
Silverware Boxes. The plastic boxes to hold stainlessware (no on runs silverware through a dishwasher) is on the side of the bottom rack, a poorly chosen location. Everytime you want to place an item in it you must pull the bottom rack out. Then of course you wrestle with the bottom rack to get it to return back into the washer. Annoying,
