NOTE: Insert the battery before you remove the old battery, slide the lens-cover switch (9) to turn off the camera. 9 Place the battery over the battery-pull strap and insert into the chamber. 3. LOADING THE BATTERY This camera uses one 3 V lithium KODAK KCR2 Battery (or CR2 equivalent) that supplies power for all camera operations. NOTE: Before you load the film. 1. Open the battery door (16). 2. Close the battery door.

Push the film-door lever (11) to sleep after 4 minutes of nonuse. To wake up the camera, take a picture or close and reopen the lens cover. NOTE: Insert the battery before you load the film. 1. LOADING THE FILM You can load film with the camera on or off the camera when it is not in use to further extend the battery life. Turn off . Power shutdown To conserve battery power, the camera automatically goes to open the film door (17). 12
