Using the Port Replicator Understanding the Basics Important To dock the OmniBook 1. Plug the ac adapter into a grounded ac outlet. Never connect the OmniBook to support the OmniBook. 2. Open the OmniBook's docking port door and slide the door under the port. 1-11 Unplug all cables from the back of the OmniBook. 3. An extra ac adapter is provided to ensure that the port replicator is always usable and ready to the port replicator without first connecting ac power.

To adjust the display • Slide the control up or down to the right of the display. • All OmniBooks are equipped with a brightness control. • Some models may also have a contrast control. Hint Brightness affects battery time. Adjusting the Display Your OmniBook display controls are located to adjust the brightness or contrast.
