When you plug in the power cord, the power goes on the MFC and the other end to the handset. 2 Connect the power cord. Connect one end of the curled handset cord to the MFC and the shorter end to a modular wall jack. 2-4 MFC SETUP AND CONNECTIONS Connect the longer end of the telephone line cord to the jack on and the screen alternately displays. SET CARTRIDGES PLS OPEN COVER 3 Connect the telephone line cord. There is no ON/OFF switch. Assembly 1 Connect the handset.
