Note: If needed, use your fingers to pry up until the connector releases. Firmly grasp the cable, and carefully pull it straight up the connector from side to side. 2. Figure 8 5. Installing the Replacement Keyboard 1. Make sure that the shield sits uniformly flat. 5. Insert the RAM shield. (Figure 9) 4. Lay the replacement keyboard in the correct orientation over the keyboard opening, then flip it toward you and lay it face down on the shield and computer align and that the screw holes on the palm rest to expose its connector on the computer. 3.
