Emachine T1855--how To Reset Cmos?

Hello there! Im here to assist your with your computer. You can reset the Bios very simple with your desktop computer. I provided the steps below.

Slide the lid off your desktop computer, usually has 2 screws holding the sliding lid on.
After the lid is off, you will see the motherboard, connected with other wires and such things. What you are looking for is a visible flat silver battery located on the motherboard. You may have to move wires out of the way etc to get to it. Be careful
Once you located the silver circular shaped battery, it is usually held in by a smal clip etc. Carefully lift out the clip or push back the pin to allow the battery to come out.
Leave the battery out for 5-10 Minutes then re insert the battery. Plug any wires back into place if you moved any, slid the lid back on computer and power the desktop up.
When you boot up you will see a notification that your CMOS has been reset and it will ask you to restore defaults etc. Some Bios screens vary on what message you will recieve.
