Is My Emachines El1358g Pc 32 Or 64 Bit.
Hi, i have an emachines el1358g computer that came with microsoft xp pro. I would like to upgrade to windows 7, but do not know whether to get 32 or 64 bit version, please help. Rob

If you're using Windows XP you're probably using 32-bit, but you can check by right clicking on "My Computer" and choosing "Properties". There, you'll see the systems properties window. If you're running a 32-bit version of Windows, all it will say is Windows XP on the screen. If its a 64-bit version, it will show that on the screen. 64-bit can utilize more memory than 32-bit can. (About 8GB as opposed to 4GB)
