The Laptop Suddenly Switches Off

The laptop suddenly switches off. I hear fan working, but still switches off. What can be and if the laptop is overheating what can I do?

The CPU might be overheated. Remember that the CPU has a protective program which shuts itself down if it reaches a certain temperature. On the other side, it might be also related to corrupted Operating System. You will be needing to reinstall the Operating System of your computer. Use the original installation CD or DVD to reinstall the OS.
