Scramble With Friends- Blue Bubble?

what is that little blue bubble ? it has #'s inside as if they were messsges. but when i look it's empty . I thought there would be an icon legend but i did not see one. Btw I have a Droid Razzor idk if that matters....thankyou

It appear when you have "reminded" someone to play, and then they do.  The number should be the number of times you have reminded them.
