Function Key Automatically Goes To Stylevol

HI There, I just purchased the Yamaha PSRE433 and I am trying to chnage the voice volume. So I found page 48 in the manual and it says to press Function and then 008 for volume... However, as soon as I push the Function key, it says StyleVol and then it only creates whatever the Style numbers represent. Does it have a messy programming issue?
