Display Fault
Please what's the problem of Yamaha PSR 2700 screen fade?

It could be the backlight is the problem. This is a youtube video on replacing the screen. It could be a connection problem however, but components age and the internal capacitors could be failing on the unit. This is the video.

If you are able to fault find it may be possible to repair it. I believe that a replacement screen is not expensive so may be a better option.
