It is probably assessing the resistance of the speakers. If there is a poor connection to one of the speakers the design of the amplifier would assess that one is not connected properly or faulty. First check each speaker connection to the amp. Then check the cabling to each speaker and make sure they are OK.
If a connection seems dodgy then repair it rather than hope that it is OK. Check the settings of the amp by reading the user guide to setting up the speakers.This is a link to the manual:
