Why Is Yah?oo So Difficult To Contact

Unable to open my Yahoo email. How can I find out if the service is down or if I am having a personal problem?

1. You can see when any website is down by going to http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/.

2. Assuming the site is not down, you may be able to solve your issue using this dialog.

3. You can aways ask Yahoo for help with the form at http://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?locale=en_US&y=PROD_ACCT&page=contact. You can also call 800-318-0612. You can write Yahoo by snail mail at 701 1st Av., Sunnyvale, CA 94089.

4. Why is Yahoo so difficult to contact? If it is, it's because the company chooses to devote its resources otherwise. Yahoo, like any profit-making organization, will allocate its resources in a way that it believes will maximize net revenue.

Hello Bejakajo,

Yahoo is an internet service provider, among other services, and has a preference with how their customers contact Customer Care. Therefore, Yahoo has a Help Section with a link titled ' How Can We Help You?' which provides the options available to search Yahoo's help Section for an answer and how to contact Customer Care if no answer was found.
