My Book Essential Edition Model 1600 1032-001
Hello! For a number of years since purchasing the My Book Essential Edition Model 1600 1032-001 five years ago, although the product worked fine for the first 2-3 years, 've gradually had increasing difficulty performing backups. Now, the computer menu box no longer drops down with the option to perform My Book backups. My Book seems to be operating all right. I hear it operating and the round light in the front is lit. Could the problem be that this particular edition is out of date?
Should I download the new 2.0 edition and install it as a replacement?
Please help! Thank you!
