New Battery 27910 Fully Charged When Placed In Phone Will Not Get Past Connecti

Phone will not turn on even after in the charger for more than 3 days. Phone read out say place in charger and then continues to read connecting but it never turns on. Can you advise next step?

Disconnect power and phone line from base for about 30 seconds and reconnect both power and phone line to base and place handset back on base; it should reset...
