Internet Connection

I have wireless in my home do I need a separte router for the disc player. also, when the screen shows searching for IP nothing happens

No, the existing wireless should be fine. You can connect muliple devices at once as long as they support whatever security protocol you have enabled.

You'll need to make sure that the SSID is being tranmitted by your wireless router. If not the player will never see the signal. For security the SSID is often not broadcast.

You should be able to program it in manually on the player. See the user guide for details.
