To connect your Vizio E371VL to the internet, follow these steps:
- Connect an ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the back of your TV. This is the simplest and most reliable way to connect to the internet.
- Turn on your TV and press the menu button on the remote control.
- Select the Network option from the menu and then choose the Wired option.
- The TV should automatically detect the ethernet connection and connect to the internet.
- If your router uses DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), the TV should be automatically assigned an IP address. If your router does not use DHCP, you may need to enter the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS settings manually.
- Once connected, you can access various internet features on your TV, such as streaming services or web browsing.
If you do not have an ethernet cable or prefer to connect wirelessly, you can connect your Vizio E371VL to Wi-Fi by selecting the Wireless option in the Network menu and following the on-screen instructions to enter your Wi-Fi network name and password.
