How To Fix Problem With My Depth Finder Noise Part Of The Alarm??

I was out boating a few weeks ago and we went over a pretty decent size wake from another boat and since then my alarm would Periodically beep or alarm and I shut the alarm off for the depth finder and it still continues to beep periodically while traveling down the water. I am a newbie to the whole boating thing. What can I do to fix the issue. Change the sensitivity on it??

It sounds like the depth finder on your boat may have been damaged when you hit the wake. I would recommend taking it to a boat repair shop or an electronics repair shop to see if it can be fixed. It's possible that the sensitivity setting on the depth finder may be able to be adjusted to help reduce the noise, but a professional would be better equipped to diagnose the problem and determine the best solution. Alternatively, you could try reaching out to the manufacturer of your depth finder to see if they have any suggestions for resolving the issue.
