Toshiba Tv Shuts Off Model #55g310u
my toshiba tv loses picture and sound after being on for 2 minutes. when it goes out the power light is still green

Based on your description, your Toshiba 55G310U TV may be experiencing an overheating issue. Overheting may be caused by not well ventilated area or hardware failure within the device. Please try to use this TV in a a well ventilated area preferrably cool area.
