When I Turn On My System It Goes Right Into Protect Mode.. I Need Help

whelp when I turn it on it is good for like 3 seconds and then it goes to protect mode and I cannot use the receiver. I have tried all the options that it gives me from the web as a trouble shooting guide but none have worked can you help me figure out what is wrong with the receiver ? It is a Sony model # STR-DG500 I would greatly appreciate it thank you

Why does my Sony receiver keep going into protect mode?

Your stereo receiver is going into protection mode because the receiver has an internal short, a speaker is bad or the speaker wiring has a problem, such as incorrect wire gauge or bad connections. If the receiver shuts off after connecting a speaker, that speaker's wiring or the speaker itself has a problem
