Kdl 46vl160 Is Dark On Right Side What Causes This Truble

If you can grab the top two corners of the TV, and pull sightly with one hand and push with the other, then reverse the direction back and forth. and you can change the picture with this motion then the panel is bad. The repair costs is over $2000 unless you have a extended warranty.
