i live in kingston ont canada i need to buy a new lcd for a kdl40xbr9 sony and the price of it

After the tsunami, Sony has quit supplying LCD panels. I doubt you can find one in anyone's stock. There are two different panels dependent up on the serial number of your TV.
FOR SERIAL # 8000001 THRU 8100000 (and is NLA)
