Department Tax Status Programming
How do I program a department to have either Tax 1 or a Tax 2 status?

Here are Sharp's instructions:
Insert the manager (MA) key into the mode switch key and turn to PGM mode
For Departments 1 - 16
· Press the department key which you want non-taxable
For departments 17 - 32
· Enter the A - H bits: 00110073 using the number keys
· Press @/FOR
· Press the DEPTSHIFT key
· Press the desired department number located in the upper right hand corner of the key
· Press CA/AT/NS
For departments 33 - 99
· Press the department number on the number key pad
· Press the DEPT# key
· Enter in the A-H Bits: 00110073 using the number keys
· Press the @/FOR key
· Press the CA/AT/NS key
This will make tax 1 and 2 active on the department key of choice.
