Help Please Asap Reg. Stoped Working

HI I TURNED MY REGISTER ON THIS MORNING AND IT STARTED BEEPING AND WOULDN'T STOP SO I TURNED IT OFF AND WHEN I TURNED IT BACK ON IT LIGHTS UP BUT WILL NOT DO ANYTHING. NO BUTTONS WORK EXCEPT PAPER FEED AND THE DRAWER WONT EVEN OPEN. IS THERE SOME KIND OF RESET OR SOME THING HELP PLEASE.

the exact same thing happened to myself this morning - turn the key to the s/dollar looking sign (all the way left) then hit the draw open button - my till then began working
