Sharp Electronic Cash Register Xe-a102 Keypad Won't Work

This is a common problem. Either the keyboard membrane has failed or the main board has a fault such as CPU failure. In rare cases, it can be caused by printer faults. It is usually time to throw it in the bin. The low end calcultor style cash registers like this have a limited life.
