There Is A P On Our Screen Of Our Register And It Won't Work.

There is a P on my register and the drawer won't open and the functions won't work. How do I get the P to go away so we can use our register.

The "P" indicates that the machine is in programming mode. Try these steps:

Turn the key to Z/PGM
Press #/ST
Then press #/ST again
Turn the key back to R then test your machine, this should clear it. However, if it still doesn't work you could try the following:

Turn the key to R
Turn the power off
Hold down CL
Turn the power on whilst still holding CL

Turn to R and test
