Help Finding The Updates In Question

i recently pick up a AQUOS sharp T.v at a yard sale which didn't come with a remote so i bought a universal remote,However< my question i'm posing to this forum is where can i get a software update to download to a portable USB

Sharp does not currently offer software updates for download to a portable USB for the LC40E67U TV. The only way to update the software on this TV is through the network.

To update the software on your LC40E67U TV through the network:

Make sure your TV is connected to the internet.

Press the Menu button on your remote control.

Select Setup and then Software Update.

Select Update by Network.

Your TV will check for updates. If an update is available, it will download and install it automatically.

If you cannot update the software on your TV through the network, you may need to contact Sharp customer support for assistance.

Here are some additional tips for updating the software on your Sharp TV:

Make sure your TV is connected to a stable internet connection.

Do not turn off your TV or unplug it from the power outlet while the software is updating.
