Sharp Er-a440 Cash Register. When I Plug It In It Blinks One Small Don't On Far
right blinks. Even when key is off or on. Can't get any thing else to happen

The blinking of one small dot on the far left side of the display on a Sharp ER-A440 cash register indicates that the register is in a diagnostic test mode. This mode is used by service technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with the cash register.
To exit the diagnostic test mode and return the register to its normal operation mode, you can try the following steps:
