If you only hear audio from the left side of your headphones, make sure the audio source has stereo output capability. IMPORTANT:A mono device will only output sound to the left side. Generally, if a device has an output jack labeled EARPHONE it will be mono, while an output jack labeled HEADPHONE will be stereo.

In the event that you just hear sound from the left half of your earphones, ensure the sound source has sound system yield capacity. IMPORTANT: A mono gadget will simply yield sound to the left side. By and large, if a gadget has a yield jack marked EARPHONE it will be mono, while a yield jack named HEADPHONE will be a sound system.
