The Screen Is Red
WHY IS MY TV SHOWING A LOT OF RED AND THE SCREEN?

If the on-screen-display (OSD) is bad when you press the [menu] button, then it's either the "Main" board or the LVDS cable and it's connections. This cable connects the output from the "Main" board to the LCD panel input. I have seen removing this cable and re-seatting it can fix a lot of these problems. (normally the bad color will show up in dark areas (areas that should be dark).
If the OSD is good then check the cables to your source (input jacks), try all inputs.
