The Volumn Does Not Work On My 50 Inch Plasma Tv? Picture Is Good Just No Volumn

It's impossible to diagnose from the other side of the computer screen, but there are a few steps you can take to diagnose yourself. Hopefully you can find out the problem.
Assuming you are using the TV speakers that are built in, and not a surround sound system...
1)Check your menu settings and look for something along the lines of audio or sound control/options. You may have a setting that is causing to play sound through external speakers (non existent) instead of it being set to internal.
2)Does the volume not work with either the remote, or the buttons on the tv? Maybe the remote volume button is broken.
3)Can you hook up external speakers to check if sound plays out of them? Perhaps your internal speakers are damaged.
