My Tv (sanyodp46849-46'lcd)gets Dark On The Left Side Of The Screen
When TV is on, the left side shows a vertical wide dark.Its almost half of the sreen. it goes on and off but most of the time is on

check your tcon board if you have experience with electronics that is. the tcon board is gonna be on the back of the panel and should have two ribbon cables attached from it to the panel so be careful not to tug or pull the cables out and instead left the tab on the connector and gently pull them out. you can even try to reseat them to make sure it is connected properly but if it is and the result is the same you probably need a new one.
