Will An Hdmi Cable Help The Refresh Rate For My Sanyo?

I looked up the specs on this model number and they failed to mention the refresh rate, which usually means it's 60hz. No matter what you put into this set the refresh rate will stay the same. Putting premium gas into a 4 cylinder will not make it a V8.
It is a 1080p and putting a blu-ray to it will make it shine it's brightest. The resolution of the input means the world to the picture quality.
