Message Initializing??

Step one: save all your files, pics and video etc to your sd card.

Step two: write down all of your contacts as the phone doesnt have a copy function

Step three: After saving all things you dont want to lose go to settings, click phone settings, go to reset phone, click yes.

step four: after reseting the phone and letting it power up go to settings and phone settings again. under reset you will see restore phone. this will reset it to factory style and it will wipe EVERYTHING. Do it.

Step five: after it has reset everything and had at least a min or t wo to initialize then you need to test your functions. Make a call, text your own number and test your browser. If all these worked then your phone is fixed :)

TIPS: As you restore the phone it will ask for a password. Unless you have set a password the code will be your last four digits of your number.

I had to hardboot my phone after the restore to get the time and date etc to correct itself. Just pop the battery out while your phone is on, give it a min and put it in then power up again. After your phone regains service it will ask if you want to auto update, click yes. It should take only a few moments to update :)

Lastly, if these tips do not work then you have to have a new sim card shipped to you. It sucks i know but the assure that it will work after the five day wait. (took me three days the first time i was waiting on a sim for another issue if fedex works good in your area)
