How Do You Turn On The Icemaker?

To reset your ice maker:
Remove your ice bucket so you can get to your ice maker.
Locate the test button. It's a rectangular button near the front of the ice maker, on the side or bottom. There may be writing that says TEST or an arrow pointing at it.
Press and hold the button until you hear a chime indicating that the test is starting.
Quickly put the ice bucket back in; depending on the type of ice maker you have, whatever ice is in the ice maker will dump soon.

This type of icemaker is found primarily on older Top-Freezer and Side-by-Side style refrigerators.
- To turn ON the icemaker, lower the feeler arm to the ON (down) position.
