I Know This Is A Power Supply. I Want To Know Why The Sound Is So Low For The Tv
I have a LN-S2738D Samsung TV. I have replaced the video board, part number BN96-03060A, because the picture went black. Now the set has very low sound(none on startup) in TV mode but normal sound in DVD mode. What part needs replacing? Why is the sound so low when the TV is the source of input? The sound is normal when playing a DVD or a VHS tape.

I don't know what you are saying. there are two major boards in this set. There is a power supply board (part number BN96-03060A) and the main board (part number BN94-01011B). The main board is the only board that can cause audio problems. If you had another part numbered main installed instead of this one, you could have strange symptoms such as low audio levels on some input sources. so you need to ensure the main board you installed was this board with this part number (BN94-01011B).
