Blank Screen No Audio Solutions
Tv Dan, Thanks for answering all of our questions.
In your experience with this problem, (black/blank screen, only able to hear audio), do you Do you suggest we buy the whole power board and everything should be ok? Or should we bring the power board to a TV repair shop and let them decide what we need to replace?

If when you turn the TV "on" and if you watch it carefully in a VERY dark room, the back lights never turn on even for a split second (you can also see this from the rear with the back off because the light will be seen through tiny hole in the back of the LCD panel), then you have a 90% chance that all you need to do is replace this power supply board. If the back lights come on for a second then it could be a panel and a trip to the shop will be needed to determine this for sure.
Note, you can see the video is there if you point a powerful flashlight into the screen and the area around the light will glow enough to see the picture.
If there is no capacitors with the top puffed up, then taking the board only to a shop will not work. There is no way they can run it without the rest of the set.
