Power Switch Problems
The lights come on when I press the power button on the TV or remote, but the TV won't turn on until 10 or 20 attempts, and then it may come on

You have a power supply problem which requires the capacitors to be replaced on the PCB.
This you tube video explains how to do it. If you are confident at soldering there should not be a problem. This is one seller who can supply them in the US. The others come from Canada.
