How Do I Replace The Red Color Chip In Dlp Tv?
I have the red chip to replace the bad one on Samsung DLP TV (HL-T6187SA). Can I do it my self or do I have to wait 2 weeks for the repair man to return? It is a simple blade type chip that should just slide in place. Where is chip located? Do I take the back off the TV?

I had similar problem. TV guy had to take the entire back off, and pull a tray full of other componets out, and then put red chip in. After insertion, he put all the prior removed parts back in. From what I noticed, with my DLP, it did not look all that complicated as long as you know where the chip is.
