Toner Replacement Announced

it keeps asking for magenta toner. The report said it's at 0%. However, the test sheet went fine with all colors.

Try the following

Remove the toner cartridge(s) and shake the cartridge(s) from side-to-side several times to redistribute the toner.
Reinstall the toner cartridge(s) back into the printer.
Close the printer cover.
