How do I change from 2.4 GHz to 5GHz Mercusys?

Step 2 Change Channel and Channel Width, then click Save. Step 3 Click 5GHz Wireless>Host Network., and change Channel and Channel Width, then click Save. For 5GHz, we recommend you use channel in Band 4, which is channel 149-165, if your router is US version.

What should my channel bandwidth be?

If you're using 2.4 GHz, the answer is simple. The best bandwidth for 2.4 Ghz is 20 MHz. In the majority of cases, using wide widths on 2.4 GHz isn't worthwhile. The performance tradeoffs from interference on overlapping channels will likely outweigh the throughput benefits.

Should I use 20 or 40 MHz bandwidth?

If you use 2.4 Ghz broadcasting radio, you should use 20 Mhz for the channel width. The simple reason is that 20 Mhz is really a supportive measure for your older devices. ... This is when you should use the 40 Mhz bandwidth. When You Should Use Combination of 20 / 40 Mhz Combination.
