Error Code Sc 304

After I changed out toner an error code appeared and now I cannot use printer, what do I need to do to repair this?

SC304 could be one of many things, but the most likely cause is a bad charge roller. The charge roller is a component inside the PCU (photoconductor unit) which is replaced as an assembly, so replacing the PCU for whichever color is causing the code will most likely fix the problem.

If it happened immediately after you changed toner, you could have a defective toner cartridge. Try a new toner cartridge for that color and reboot the printer, and see if the error goes away.

This is a charge roller current correction error. The ID sensor is defective and must be replaced.
