Aficio Mp C5000 Wont Print For Mac 10.9 And 10.10

That didnt work,ive gone on the Ricoh site and downloaded the drivers from the website and that didnt work. Everytime i try to print from my mac, i just get random symbols and icons on the peice of paper.

Does your C5000 have the PostScript 3 kit installed? Without PostScript, you won't be able to print (at least not without using a workaround) from a Mac.

If PS3 is installed, make sure the copier's firmware is up to date. The C5000 is an older copier, and may require newer firmware to print correctly from those newer operating systems. Your service technician will probably have to do that for you, since Ricoh keeps its firmware under lock and key.

If it still won't print right with new firmware, make sure you are using the correct PostScript driver, and try printing from different applications to see if you can narrow down the problem.
