Specify Sender
When I try to scan to email I get the message "Sender Not Specified".
How do I specify a sender on the machine?

To specify a sender when you scan, there is a Sender button toward the bottom of the screen. Select it, and you should be presented with a list of registered senders. If there are no senders on the list or the button is grayed out, you'll need to specify at least one user as a sender. You can do this through the address book -- go to the user you want to make a sender and select the Protection tab. There will be a button marked Destination that is selected, and next to it is one marked Sender. Select that button and then save the change, then you can select that user as a sender.

You can set a default sender name by following these instructions.
1-find the "user tools" button (this button is a physical button not on the touch screen.
2-"SYSTEM SETTINGS"
3-"File Transfer"
4-fill out the "ADMINISTRATOR EMAIL" field. ex: [email protected]
5-go to the second page and select "AUTO SPECIFY SENDER" and select "yes"
now you will never have to select a sender again...you will recieve an email from which ever generic address you have inputted into the copier.
