Public Elementary School Renting Ricoh 5002. Every Copy Has A Vertical Line!

Often if you see a line on your copies, it's because of dirt, Wite-Out, or tape/adhesive stuck to the glass. When you lift the document feeder, you'll see the big platen glass, and then to the left of it is a small strip of glass. This glass is where copies put through the document feeder get scanned. Clean this glass with alcohol and a lint-free rag or paper towel, and your line should go away.
